Pails Still Life
This still life helped to improve my capturing of the lights, shadows, and shines of the objects by using charcoal, pencil, and white conte crayon.
Measuring Cups Still Life
This is a different type of still life project. Here the goal was still to capture the reality of the objects, but at the same time organize them on the page in such a way that does not seem possible. In this case the measuring cups seem to be floating everywhere. Done in pencil, charcoal, and white conte crayon.
Halloween Still Life
A Halloween-themed project using things like a life-sized skeleton, jack-o-lantern, and a pillar. Done in charcoal, the background was made black to give the composition a more dark theme.
Figure Drawing - Man
Here I test out what I have learned about drawing the human body, capturing the lights and shadows of the composition while leaving out details and textures. Done in charcoal.

This is where I continue working on drawing the human form. The focus here was to see the details of the shape of the figure. Done in pencil.
